Jordyne joined Wakarusa Family Dental in 2016 as one of our dental assistants. Jordyne graduated from the University of Saint Mary in 2015 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a minor in psychology. She plans to attend dental school in the future. She has been a dental assistant for 4 years, starting her dental career in pediatrics. She transitioned to oral surgery, but found her perfect fit in general dentistry. She strives to make your visit into our office as comfortable and relaxing as possible. When Jordyne isn’t working, she enjoys going to the gym and spending quality time with her best friend Maverick (her German Shepherd), as well as her family, friends and boyfriend.

Cris joined Dr. Kelley’s team nearly 32 years ago as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Cris moved to Lawrence in 1970 where she graduated high school and attended KU until deciding to go into dental hygiene. She graduated from Johnson County Community College in 1983, and has been an RDH for 35 years!

Cris has 3 grown children and 2 grown stepchildren, and is looking forward to being a Grandma for the first time in October 2018!  When Cris is not working, she and her husband Murray love to travel, especially to places warm and sandy.

Allison joined Wakarusa Family Dental in 2015 as one of our dental assistants. Before she transitioned into the dental world she graduated from cosmetology school and worked for a few years at a barber shop. Now that she’s a full time dental assistant, she can’t imagine working with any other dentist and this awesome crew! When Alli isn’t working she enjoys hanging out with her husband Paul and son Declan. Alli is the artist in the office – if you see the amazing sidewalk chalk drawings and all the fun stuff around the holidays, she’s the girl behind it all!

Michelle joined Dr. Kelley’s team in 2001 as a Registered Dental Hygienist.  She is a 1989 graduate of Johnson County Community College’s Dental Hygiene program, and currently sees patients two days per week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Michelle enjoys living an active lifestyle starting with daily fitness, spending time with her husband Larry, and traveling both domestically and internationally.  She loves being part of her 3 adult sons’ lives and relaxing with a good book and her dog Moses.

Debi has been with Dr. Kelley’s office for 25 years. She grew up in Kansas City but has lived in Lawrence for the past 30 years. She is a 1993 graduate of Johnson County Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys her patients, as many of them have become extended family to her and she is seeing 3rd generations of some families.

Debi is married and has 2 grown children, 2 dogs, one cat, and a grand puppy, Rosie. She enjoys Kansas State football and traveling with her family.

Leah joined Wakarusa Family dental in 2017 as one of our Registered Dental Hygienists.  Leah graduated from Johnson County Community College’s Dental Hygiene program in 2012, where she earned both the Professionalism and Sunflower Awards.  Leah enjoys the opportunity to help people achieve healthy and beautiful smiles, and strives to help patients overcome their dental fears. She has volunteered with TeamSmile and Kansas Mission of Mercy for multiple years and enjoys serving the underserved.  After being a patient at Wakarusa Family Dental for many years, we were thrilled to be able to have her join our team!

Leah has been married to her high school sweetheart Boone for 6 years. They have a son, Tucker, who keeps them busy with his love for farming.  Together they love spending time outdoors and cheering on the Royals and the Jayhawks.

Dyana joined Wakarusa Family Dental in 2012 and is one of our Registered Dental Hygienists.  Dyana, a Lawrence native, received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas in 2007.  She then traveled overseas with her husband who was serving in the military. Upon returning to Lawrence, Dyana continued her education at Johnson County Community College. She graduated in 2012 with honors; receiving her associate degree in Dental Hygiene.

Dyana has always enjoyed going to the dentist and strives to make every patient feel comfortable and at ease in the dental chair. When she’s not cleaning teeth, Dyana enjoys running, singing, cooking, being outdoors and attending all things KU.  The light of her life is her husband Andy and their 2 little girls – Lydia and Eleanor.
